‘Praxis’ is the Eidos Institute’s Professional Development series.

It provides a vehicle for Eidos Network experts, content specialists and affiliated skilled practitioners within the fields of industry, government or academia to deliver high quality skill development training within their area of expertise.

Professional Development is an essential component in any field.  As an independent think-tank, Eidos is committed to facilitating the forward development and continual uptake of cutting-edge knowledge, theory and practice in the following broad areas:

• Capacity building;
• Knowledge transfer;
• Resource mobilisation;
• Effective utilisation of capital (human, social and financial); and
• Policy implementation

These broad umbrellas allow for Eidos to facilitate workshops run by industry, policy, and political and academic leaders on topics that are specific to a target market approved by the Eidos university network.

Praxis is dedicated to innovation, hard thinking and testing of new ideas.

Ultimately, if reflects the Eidos commitment to capacity building in the broadest sense, which includes knowledge transfer, deliberation, resource mobilisation, effective utilisation of capital (human, social and financial) and policy implementation.
