The Eidos Institute is an independent public policy think tank seeking talented and motivated individuals looking to engage with a broad cross-section of industry, governmental and university partners.

Our internships are team and project based and relate to the work we do as an increasingly international think tank working to better connect and inform government policy with current thinking and research.

NEW Internship Programs for 2013!
Business, Finance, Human Resources and Event Management Explore business in a real world setting. Develop your skills in administration, finance and human resources while working on policy focused projects led by academics. Assist in the running of national and international thought leadership focused event series.
Media and Communications Ready yourself for a career in the competitive field of media and communications through immersing yourself in a communication driven think tank. Assist in the preparation of opinion pieces, website content, speeches and presentations and written briefings. Take responsibility for social media strategies and work on a national communications strategy which involves partnerships with university communication departments across Australia and South Africa.
Design and Film Enhance your design and multimedia skills through and Eidos design and film internship. Suitable for those with high levels of creativity and an ability to think outside the box. Assist in website design, graphic designing of internal and external company documents and video recording and editing. Knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop neccessary for Design Interns and Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premier Pro neccessary for Film Interns. Knowledge of Joomla and HTML is a plus.
Research Development and Partnership Management Work with some of the countries leading universities and researchers on large scale tender writing, research collaborations and project proposals. With support from a national university business development team, develop skills which will enhance your academic studies or career.

How to Apply
All new internships are offered for 6 months with internal assessment reviews scheduled at the end of the first month. Upon completion, letters of recommendation and/or certificates are issued to those interns with a satisfactory performance.
Please express your interest in this program by submitting your resume, a cover letter expressing your motivations and, if interested in the Communications team, a short (1 page) policy commentary on any policy issue or area of your choice.
