Dr Todd Hartle PDF Print E-mail

Todd has a broad and varied background in research methodologies, techniques, and designs including quantitative, qualitative, theoretical, applied, positivistic, descriptive, and action research.  He also has a long history and training in education, mentoring, and professional development.  Combined, these experiences led to his primary strength of helping novice researchers to choose and design the best methodologies and techniques to answer their research questions, as well as developing their data collection, analysis, and writing skills.

Todd’s data collection strengths lie in evaluating survey and interview questions in terms of obtaining the most efficient and appropriate data responses.  His qualitative strengths include efficient and productive questioning techniques, even with challenging subjects, and developing initial analyses within the data collection context to allow for member-checking and elaboration without requiring follow-up contact. Todd’s statistical strengths are in experimental design, determining the appropriateness of statistical tests and assumptions, and interpreting statistical results in light of complex designs.
