Working at Eidos

We're always looking for people who have creative interests and skills. The Eidos Institute is an independent think-tank seeking talented and motivated individuals looking to engage with a broad cross-section of industry, governmental and university partners. For those who value a creative and exciting working environment and a team orientated working culture - we'd like to hear from you.

  • Communications

Internal: Website content, internal meeting summaries, internal reports, letter writing, internal review documents

External: Advertising content, press releases, opinion pieces, news stories, CEO speeches and presentations, university marketing relationships

  • Event management

Event organisation and logistics, advertising content, marketing and promotion of events, media management, large-scale events and forums/roundtables

  • Industry partnerships

Building relations with industry partners, maintaining relationships, attending meetings, authoring proposals and summaries of potential and current/future projects and partnerships, identifying opportunities for industry sponsorship and involvement

  • University engagement

Responsibility for ad-hoc university relationships, monitoring university activities and keeping track of proposals, ARC linkage support, coordinating opportunities for university/industry engagement

  • CEO and office support

Coordinating meetings, travel as required, office support and some logistics

Key criteria

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent knowledge of National and international affairs
  • Excellent ability to intellectually engage with complex issues
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent strategic skills
  • Excellent level of oral communication

Proven experience

  • Producing high quality written documents
  • Coherently summarising meeting and project outcomes
  • Working in a team environment
