Colin Power was Deputy Director-General of UNESCO from 1999 to 2000 and Assistant Director-General for Education from 1989 to 1998. Kaye has extensive quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills gathered over many years in a number of senior roles in research institutions including General Manager Research and Evaluation, National Centre for Vocational Education Research, Adelaide (NCVER)(2002-June 2006) and as the Director of Planning, Research & Performance, Australian National Training Authority (ANTA) (1998-to 2002) Kaye has been running her own consulting business since 2006. Kaye has been involved in Australian national vocational education and training (VET) in the capacity of strategic planner, policy developer, resource allocation adviser, performance measurer and reporter, and manager of national VET research and evaluation. Her research, planning and performance focus entailed being across the broad range of issues that affect VET in Australia.

From there he moved to the Victorian State Board of Education as its foundation Chief Executive where he advised the Minister on education policy: structural review of the operations of the Department which led to a major restructuring to meet the needs of government and the education system; impact of emerging technologies; and producing ministerial papers on changes to the Victorian education system.

Mark Gray is an Executive Director with BDO Kendalls, working primarily in the areas of corporate finance and government advisory services. He is also a Company Director and has over 35 years’ work experience in both the private and public sectors.
Prior to joining BDO Kendalls, Mark was the Office Head, Brisbane for the Macquarie Group (formerly Macquarie Bank) and a Division Director in Macquarie Capital Advisers for over 8 years. In these roles, he was the administrative head for Macquarie in Queensland, responsible for promoting the company’s interests and activities, and identifying and developing new business opportunities. He was also heavily involved in delivering a range of financial services, especially in the fields of corporate and project finance, including the financing of major infrastructure projects.

Peter has worked for more than a decade as stats/methods advisor in settings that have included QUT, Griffith University, University of New England, and the University of Tasmania. Peter has also worked as a private consultant since the mid-1990s, including a number of EIDOS projects. Peter has highly developed skills in designing, developing, and analysing surveys, and statistical interests include the use of SPSS Optimal Scaling for demographic variables, AMOS for structural equation modelling, Winsteps for Rasch analysis, and Leximancer (http://www.leximancer.com/) for automated text analysis. In 2008-09, Peter played a critical role in the Eidos/Allen Consulting project in the Skills Gap Study of Bahrain with roles in relation to data collection and analysis.

Nereda White (Indigenous) is an Aboriginal woman from the Gooreng Gooreng people of the Bundaberg area of Queensland and is currently the Director of the Centre for Indigenous Education and Research at the Australian Catholic University. Prior to her academic career, Professor White worked for the Commonwealth Department of Health researching Indigenous aged care needs and had seven years experience with the Australian Bureau of Statistics in a range of roles including population statistics.
Professor White has made a significant contribution to Indigenous higher education through her teaching, research, student support and leadership and her profile as an Indigenous academic has been enhanced by two national teaching awards including the Neville Bonner award for Indigenous Higher Education in 2007. As an Indigenous researcher, Professor White brings to the Eidos Associate team her sound knowledge and understanding of the contemporary issues impacting on Indigenous people including homelessness, racism, unemployment, poor health and lack of social capital.

Professor Scott Prasser is the inaugural Executive Director of the Public Policy Institute and is a graduate of the University of Queensland and Griffith University. Prior to joining Australian Catholic University (ACU), Scott has held senior policy and research positions in federal and state governments and has held senior academic positions across universities in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Scott’s research and analytical skills are demonstrated both by his formal research based qualifications and his extensive publications record including: authoring or co-editing 17 books on public policy, politics and public administration, over 20 book chapters, 35 articles in refereed academic journals, conference papers and analyses of contemporary policy issues in the national media.

Khorshed holds a PhD in environmental and resource economics from Murdoch University, Western Australia, and a Masters in Economics from the Institute of Social Studies in the Netherlands. Roger is currently a senior lecturer with the School of Education at the Austrlian Catholic University. Roger has worked in a number of university environments since 1998 including UNDA, Illinios, DWU in PNG and UNND in Mindanao Philippines. Roger’s research has included a wide range of methodologies including non participant observation, document analysis, group and individual interviews, survey research including multivariate methods. He has been involved in and led evaluations of schools, while in WA, as well as researching the lives of teachers. As a research academic Roger have been active in training researchers, both through consultancy work in WA with WA Health and WA Education, higher degree research students including a significant number of successful doctoral candidates.
